Lynn Cronin- Office Administrator/Hydroponic Gardener

HCP Associates’ Office Administrator, Lynn Cronin, has been with our team for over four years handling all financial accounting, and helping with the day-to-day responsibilities that ensure daily operations run smoothly. In addition to her love for finances and organization, she has been enjoying her new hobby, hydroponic gardening.

“I have always been interested in hydroponic gardening and recently purchased a hydroponic set-up so that I can grow my own lettuce and other vegetables,” said Cronin.

Hydroponic gardening is a method of agriculture in which plants are grown in nutrient-rich water instead of nutrient-rich soil. The advantage of hydroponic gardening, rather than traditional methods, is that it can be grown indoor year-round without the hassle of weeding and pests!

Her interest in different vegetables resulted in a successful harvest. “I recently harvested cauliflower, broccoli, lots of different lettuces and alpine berries as well as herbs.” Since then, she has solidified that lettuce is her favorite crop as Cronin says, “I love to grow various kinds of lettuce and it’s my favorite plant to have in my hydroponic garden.”
